Description
In 1995 Harry van de Wiel decided to establish the Stadsbrouwerij Rotterdam. The brewery is decorated in the style of the old town hall of Delfshaven, the wood-copper kettles in which brewing takes place are a good example of this. In the meantime Harry's son has taken over the stirring stick and continues his father's passion.

Jet black colour with thin lacy head. Aroma of sweet roasted malts and cocoa. Texture is diappointingly thin and watery. Flavour has a distinct chocolatey taste but the beer lacks body and depth to carry the flavour through.
