Beer opens with a vigorous phhht and pours opaque black brown and throws a big tan head. Airy palate, mildly dry, good fine carbonation. Fluffy dark malts, a decent amount of dark malt cream and a pleasant blend of fairly sweet chocolate and coffee. Touch of dark fruits. Some biscuity sweetness in the light smooth finish. Pretty sweet Impy then but drinkable in small quantities.

Optisch Aprikose, sehr fruchtige Nase, im Trunk ebenso, nicht zu süß, spät trocken. In der Hitze sehr erfrischend.

Black with a thin beige head. Dark roasted malts, coffee, chocolate and licorice aroma's. Sweet taste with some burnt notes. Sweet finish with some more roasted malts. Straight forward old fashioned stout.
Mega gusher, de halve keuken zat eronder, dit kost je gewoon dikke minpunten.. Zo extreem heb ik het nog nooit meegemaakt…
De reguliere Pelgrim vind ik iets beter imo.

330 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with light head. Aromas of burnt sugar, metallic malts, and dark raisins. Flavors of bread crusts, dark fruit, almonds, and dried bananas. Big and sweet for a dubbelbock but nice enough.

Suhkrune, šokolaadine, röstine, alkone. Läheb rohkem sinna imperial stout kanti kui aus olla, mis iseenesest pole ju halb, ag võiks vähem suhkrune olla.
