330ml bottle into shaker. Copper coloured beer with solid white head. Medium carbonation. Very very slight cocoa nose. Light body, flat mouthfeel. Finish is fruity and slightly bitter. Chocolate and sour fruit make a late appearance. Quite nice, like a cross between Tooheys Old and Kent Old.

(Bottle) Pours hazy pale amber with no head. Little aroma - hints of cardboard. Light and fizzy. Hard to judge taste because tastebuds so overwhelmed by first contact. I think there was a little soft sweetness, and then very firey chilli heat, particularly in throat and back of mouth. Further tastes suggest green chillies, but the heat builds rapidly, destroying ability to taste. Two sips and everything burns and I am sweating under my eyes. Completely undrinkable.

(Bottle) Pours clear straw yellow with small transient loose white head. Pleasant aroma, although odd for a beer; it’s clearly lychees, with some other subtle sweetish floral notes. Palate is thin and fizzy. Taste is weird, not unpleasant, but too odd to be pleasant. It’s fruity, although I wouldn’t identify lychee. There’s some light malty sweetness, that might be syrup rather than malt, but the fruity tastes are confusing. A redeeming feature is the finish which is fairly dry and crisp but with some lychee hints to it. An odd beer. I am glad I tried it. Wouldn’t choose it again, but also wouldn’t turn one down.

330ml bottle from Dan Murphy’s, Hurstville. Pale golden colour, thin white foam head and aroma of fruity artificial mango. Taste is grain, fruity mango flavouring, sweet with hay, cardboard. Thin mouthfeel, light bodied, medium carbonation, dry tangy finish. OK.

Bottle. Orange with a white head that lasts a while. After the lychee one smelled pretty mcuh like lychees I was surprised when this one smelled more like tinned fruit compote. Kind of a perfumed dough thing too. Sweet with vague tropical and stone fruit - like the syrup from a tin of mixed fruit. some grain, lightly spiced moderate bitterness. The mango aftertaste is a bit more convincing. Not really my sort of thing but OK.

Bottle. Aroma has a brief of mango and passionfruit as it’s pouring, then in seconds it’s gone, leaving some orange and caramel. Orange with a white head that’s soon less than a coat Lowish carbonation, watery. Caramel and fake cherry lolly water with a little pepper, slightly metallic bitterness. Poor.

Bottle. Pale unclear brownish orange, no head. Aroma of ground bird’s eye chiles, cider vinegar. Very light bodied. Taste is all chiles and better ones than suggested by the smell. I remember making chile vodka in the 80s by putting a handful of Thai chiles in a bottle a waiting a month. This tastes like that. I guess you could put it in a marinade but it’s not a good drink. How does this beer still exist? - good graphic design, a financial interest by Woolies and an endless supply of numpties.

Bottle - so from Perth, not Broome. Pale gold with a white head that fades but doesn’t disappear. Smells like a cross between fresh lychees (which I like a lot) and lychees tinned in syrup (not). Watery. Some, but not as much lychee in the taste. A little grainy, some soap, slightly metallic. It’s very thin, so the slight lean towards dry and the lowish bitterness is enough. OK - certainly finish it.

Tap. Spicy ginger nose. Milky green, no head-looks like a lime based drink. Bright ginger notes, lime and sugars, light spicy finish. Chewy medium light body. Nice
