Cask at the Cask’s 5th birthday bash, 05/07/14. Clear golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is earthy hops, dungy tones, rural agriculture, bitter citric peel, sweat, light booze. Taste comprises earthy hops, pretty raw feel, light mineral bite, toasted pine, spice, bitter grapefruit. Full bodied, moderate carbonation, a little sticky and slow moving. Too hot and not much balance, a great example of why DIPA’s should be on keg !!!
