Craft Clerkenwell. Martin T tasting. Cask shared by Tom Cadden I think? Almost clear gold beer, little bubbly white head. Light palate. Modest carbonation. A touch of semi sweet pale malt. Whisper of honey and flowers. Very mellow bitterness. Semi dry finish. A bit polite and there is cock all Bramling Cross I can taste but quite drinkable.

Cask at CBC during the Martin T tasting, thanks to Tom for getting his big jugs out! 06/06/13. Clear pale golden with a thin white head that dissipates edgeward. Nose is citrus, orange burst, hops, pale malt notes. Taste comprises orange pith, berry fruit notes, citric fruits, grass, hops. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dryish in the execution. A decent enough drop.

Cask gravity at a couple of micropubs in North Kent, one was definitely the Butchers Arms in Herne and the other was a taste of AndrewC’s pint in The Bouncing Barrel in Herne Bay. Hoppy pale session beer with American hops but also a faint aroma of slight rubber that some Kent beers have. OK.
