440ml can from the brewery. Hazy orange-gold, small white head, some retention. Juicy aroma of citrus; melon, passionfruit, orange, some herbs. Taste starts with lovely juicy hops, however is in the main dominated by the wheat malts, yeast and dry bitter finish. Body and carbonation are very good. Its an acquired taste and reminds me a bit of Dhillon's Steam lager, just a hoppy nicer version.

440ml can direct from the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy gold, small white head, nice lacing. Aroma is stewed apricot, pineapple, slight earthiness. Taste is very similar but what you notice is a strong bitterness throughout so not really a tropical NEIPA. After a while my palate got used to the level of bitterness as it doesn't have an astringent dryness that sometimes can go with this. There is also some sweetness to offset. I really liked the bite of this in terms of a stewed fruit note and bitterness even if it is slightly unbalanced.

440ml can from brewery. Black with small tanned head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malts, milk chocolate, dark cocoa, coffee; very nice not overbearing. Taste is sweet malts, milky coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, light roastiness; lovely easy drinking and balanced flavours. Average body with a slight chewiness, some dryness, light smoke, around the palate in the finish. A nice soft carbonation. Lovely.

Tap at Wolf, Birmingham. Hazy yellow-gold, small white top. Very citric with a funky-earthiness in aroma. Taste of citrus zest, passionfruit, pine, slightly medicinal, long moderate bitterness. Light bodied but has a drying resin quality on the palate. Quite good.

Keg @ North Bar, Birmingham with Rich, John and Craig. Misty yellow, white head. Bitter herbal nose. Overall character is a bit bitter, herbal with lingering dry citrus, thin bodied. Tastes like it's either been on too long, or the beer's been left in the line.

Keg @ North Bar with Rich, John and Craig. Dark pour with a sparse brown head. Roasted malts on initial sniff, with layered malts to taste, prominent chocolate with additional roasted shades, mild desert-like sweet suggestions make it an entertaining, satisfying porter.

Tap at North, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a round bubbly tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, light ashtray. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, light sweet, with a dry, roasty, ashtray, light sweet caramel palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.
