375ml can from Liquorland, Roselands. As "Albo Pale Ale" 4.8%. Hazed yellow gold colour, white foam head and aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, hops. Taste is malty, grainy, with juicy fruit, citrus, and hop bitterness. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, drying hoppy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

(Can) Pours hazy amber with big loose white head. Orangey citrus notes to aroma. Light body with bright carbonation. Toffee malt and citrus at the start, some hoppy bitterness following and then falls a bit thin and watery. Good for a mid strength.

(Can) Pours clear golden with small loose white head. Pleasant clean aroma of citrus and pine. Light body with good carbonation. Simple refreshing taste with citrus at the start, very light biscuit and corn malt and no bitterness. Easy drinking.

Can, bb 5/23. Barely hazy gold (not in any sense a bad thing) with a loose white head. Aroma of mandarins, pineapple, lychees, light biscuit. So it tastes. Which is like a golden ale. Moderate bitterness but the end is dry enough. Not what I was expecting but nice.

From a 375ml can on 28/4/2022. Thought this might have been brewed as an election gimmick, but seems it's actually been around for years, though my can has a picture of Albo and says 'Pale Ale'. Definitely not a red or amber ale! Pours an ultra clear light golden with a medium head that disappears quickly. Little in the way of aroma. Tastes sweet and does have a corn element, very lager like in many respect but with of a sharp lemony finish at the back. Light bodied with average carbonation. Would make an okay lawnmower beer I guess.

Hazy golden small white head. Pleasant apple aroma (surprisingly). Medium body with good soft carbonation. Tangy citrus start, pleasant biscuit malt with gentle hoppy bitterness. Very drinkable.

(Can) Pours slightly hazy pale gold with tiny white head. Subtle pleasant aroma - notes of pine, hints of pineapple, citrus and veges. Light body with good carbonation. Tangy fruity taste at start. Somewhat thin in the middle. Some gentle peppery bitterness in the finish. Very drinkable.

Can. Clear amber with an inch of loose white head. Rather ESBish aroma of breadcrust, berries, marmalade-like citrus. Clean and malty with bread and caramelised notes before bitterness grips with some spices towards the end. An IPA from several fashions ago but tasty enough - I like the lightness of it and the finish.

Pint on tap at Beer Deluxe, Barangaroo. Crystal clear amber beer with a thin white head, low carbonation. Grainy nose with slight hints of malt. Nice lacing. Grassy, clean and bitter with more malt coming through in the finish. Very nice Oktoberfest beer, touches of berry and liquorice late on. Super easy to drink.

From a 375ml can on 7/8/2020. Pours a very dark brown with a small head. The nose features light chocolate and a touch of coffee. Tastes of milk chocolate against a quite strong coffee background. Maybe I'm imagining it, but I get a just a hint of chili too. The mouthfeel is slightly slick, the carbonation moderate.Pretty tasty and goes down quite nicely.
