Mystery style, turns out it's a pale lager. Bittersweet, little bit of a honey'ish flavor. Plenty of carbonation. Not bad.

Clear deep ruby brown colour, large frothy beige head, dissipating slowly, fair lacing. Aroma roasted malts, raisins, dates, figs, caramel, brown sugar, liquorice. Taste light heavy sweet, slightly bitter, roasted malts, toffee, alcohol, spicy notes, with average to long duration, sweetbitter aftertaste, spicy notes and alcohol warmth. Medium body, oily to creamy texture, average carbonation, heavy duty double bock not body-wise but because of the alcohol which gives the beer a fortified wine feel.

Sampled @ Pint Winterbierfestival Gouda, 2016. Nice dark sort of red-brownish color, small off-white head. Not a lot of aroma. Taste malts, slightly caramel, lightly metallic, moderately bitter finish. Decent body and carbonation. Ok beer. Drinkable.
