With a passion for “Real Ale” our brewery in Darton, Yorkshire is capable of producing 576 gallons per week. Beer is brewed on an 8 barrel plant (a barrel being 36 gallons), so we can brew 288 gallons per day.

With 21 great beers now available and the list constantly evolving, we can’t wait to show you what Nailmaker Brewing Co is all about.

24/8/2023. Cask at the 44th Peterborough Beer Festival. Pours clear dark maroon brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma is plummy, malty, chocolate, caramel, nut. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Watery with soft carbonation. Nice aroma but lacked some body.

Cask @ Old Queens, Sheffield. Darker reddish-brown with a creamy off-white head. Chocolate in aroma and taste dominates above a regular dark roasted maltiness, however it can feel a tad weak in both texture and aftertaste.

Cask at GBBF 2023 - day 1. Pours clear yellow-gold with a creamy white head. Lightly sweet with pleasant English yeast, pale bread, biscuits, straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Pretty clean finish, more biscuits, lean pale malts. Tasty one.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Clear gold beer, small white head. Smooth palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth malts, a light creamy sweetness. Smooth floral Jester hops, trace of lime, piney tropical fruits. Light semi dry finish. Good

Hand-pulled pint on 23rd June 2023, Pheasant Inn and brewpub, Wellington Shropshire. Clean and clear light golden body, lasting white head. Jester hops doing their thing, citrusy aroma and taste with a berry leaning.

Skipton Beer Festival 2023. Pale golden coloured. Its mango is very stated in both aroma and taste, although not quite overbearing, with a more gentle aftertaste.

Cask @ The Hebden (formerly The Pub), Hebden Bridge. Clear golden with a creamy head. Mostly bitter in design, some malts, but with hints of dark berry available.

Cask @ The Hebden (formerly The Pub, Hebden Bridge). Golden with a creamy head. Mildly hoppy with its strength evident but this doesn't have a huge influence on taste.

Hand-pulled pint at the Pheasant Inn & Brewhouse on 2nd March 2023. Light haze to the light golden body, lasting white head. Citra hops doing their thing with grapefruit like esters and flavours to the fore, good malt bill too.
