Bottle shared thanks to Deanso. Pours very hazy golden blond with a massive "Dean pour" white head. Aroma of citrus, coriander, light yeast and light fruit notes. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Light to medium bodied with light to moderate carbonation.

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy, short-lived, light tan head. The aroma is malt and with some strange plastic notes. The flavour is liqourice, smoked malt with a light, watery, liqourice, light medicinal, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. In fact it was completely flat within minutes of pouring.

[9/24/15] Bottle at Arendsnest in Amsterdam. Clear brown. Smoked sausage aroma. Sweetish flavor with caramel, smoked sausage. Medium-bodied, strong carbonation.

[9/24/15] Draught at Arendsnest in Amsterdam. Dark brown to black. Aroma of licorice, spice, some roast. Sweetish flavor of roast, lots of licorice, bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Too much licorice for me.

[9/24/15] Draught at Arendsnest in Amsterdam. Hazy yellow. Aroma of wheat, coriander, citrus. Tart flavor with wheat, and some spiciness. Quite light-bodied. Nice and refreshing.

On tap at Arends Nest Amsterdam. Black beer lasting tan head. Some herb element chocolate on the aroma. Some liquorice in the mouth. Really not my thing at all. It’s a herbal liquorice chocolate cocoction that is quite dry on the finish but not my flavour profile.
