Poured from 750mL bottle. Near black with very minimal beige head. Very coffee forward, a little inky, mild barrel notes. Decent.

750ml (thx, Max C. for the pick-up and delivery all over Canada!) @ Matt's new place during Andrew's visit. Appearance: very dark brown with the same color head. Aroma: sweet cold coffee with some barrel character. Taste: along the same lines, nicely balanced coffee and barrel notes. Overall: pretty good coffee imperial stout.

Lots of coffee, fairly good syrup. Sugary. Big body. Not a lot of nuance, but what notes here are good. The coffee drops into the finish with toasty, roasty stuff.

750mL bottle (why package this in 750s?), pours jet black with a tiny brown head. Aroma is full of bourbon barrels, coffee, and dark sugars. Flavour is extremely rich, with lots of coffee, bourbon and dark sugars. Very rich, with tons of coffee and bourbon. Intense and nearly over-the-top. Very good but a bit too brutal.

750 mL bottle poured at Matt's powerful tasting. Dense chocolate brown pour, thick syrup. Lots of coconut and milk chocolate. Long lingering caramel, chocolate, coconut. Defintely a bigger than it needs to be imperial stout. Too much of too much here.

750ml @ Matt's new place during Andrew's visit. Appearance: dark brown with a weak bark beige head. Aroma: heavy, sweet, very weird coconut-related notes. Taste: along the same lines, thick, weird coconut with a sour malty base and quite a lot of charred oak. Overall: no good integration here, unfortunately, meh.

Poured from 750mL bottle (thanks Derek & JF). Near black with minimal tan head. Chocolate, mild coconut, could have a touch more complexity, but enjoyable. A bit rich, really needs to be in a smaller bottle (split 5 ways and only got through half the bottle).

Inky, pours super thick. The aroma is fairly chocolatey, light coconut, a bit nutty. On the palate it's very thick, again moderate coconut, sticky dark sugars. Yeah, this is pretty good.

750mL bottle, pours jet inky black with a tiny head. Aroma is extremely rich, with lots of molasses, coconut, and burnt dark sugars. Flavour is very rich, with intense dark sugars, molasses, woody barrels, and a hint of coconut. Very rich, dark sugar character, though it demands a bit better integration and depth. They've done better impies, but this is very nice.
