About
Baxbier Brewery werd in 2014 opgericht door wielervrienden Jeroen Bax en Sepp Jansen. Wat uit nieuwsgierigheid thuis in de keuken begon werd al snel veel meer dan dat. Na de succesvolle lancering van inmiddels moderne klassiekers als Koudvuur, Abel’s Ale en natuurlijk de bieren uit de Kon Minder-lijn staat er inmiddels een moderne, eigen brouwerij met proeflokaal aan het water. Ruim 15 mensen werken elke dag hard aan de mooiste bieren, het lekkerste eten en de leukste evenementen. Baxbier staat bekend om zijn liefde voor spelen en experimenteren. Ons motto is niet voor niks: Seriously Playful.

0,44 l can. Big thank you to Vanessa & Nils for handling. BB 06/27. Mid golden, slightly golden small one finger white head. Citrus grassy aroma, some pepper elements. Tate starts also citrus grassy, increasing pale malty. Present pepper any may some coriander. Soft bitterness, little bit below average carbonated. Easy drinker. Not bad.

0,33 l can. BB 03/27. Murky orange rosé in the glass, small short living head. Pale grain, lactose and some peach on the nose. Taste starts strange. Again intensive pale grain, a lot of oat flakes, lactose, some peach, vanilla. No real bitterness, very low carbonation. Not as sour as expected. Experimental stuff imho.

0,44 l cab. Like everytime, I have to say I love the label art of this series. BB 05/27. Pours out like thick orange juce with a small white head. Intensive sweet tropical aroma. Taste starts sweet fruity, incraesing dry tropical fruity. Pale malt. Mid bitterness. And yes, alcoholic but not boozy. Below average carbonated. Long lasting aftertaste. Great stuff.

0,33 l can. BB 05/27. BLACK in the glass with a nearly two finger pale beige frothy head. Intensive dark malty with pine and licorice on the nose. Taste starts roasted malty, increasing licorice and milk choco, some nuts and bready elements. Present citrus fruity elements. Not as bitter as expected. Below average carbonated. Nice one!

0,33 l can. BB 05/27. Orangejuicy yellow in the glass with a more than one finger white foamy head. Grape, sweet citrus and orange on the nose. Taste starts herbal, some bitterness with yeast, also dry c-fruity. Increasing pale grain in the second part. Okay, maybe an easy summer drinker.

Clear golden topped with a lasting just off white head.
Nose is straw, white grape, dusty hops, lychee.
Taste comprises grape juice, light herb, citric tinged straw, grains.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with mellow hop bitterness.
Okay but nothing I'd look to revisit.

Can. Just a light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, slightly thin and semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin bodied pale malts, a honey sweetness, slightly tangy, good ripe tangy grape and slightly tart grape sits in good contrast to the honey sweetness. Light finish, pretty darn drinkable.

(Draft at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 28 Feb 2026) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with chocolate, dark bread, coffee and roasted grain. Malty, roasted taste with notes of chocolate, coffee, dark bread, roasted grain and a balanced citric/floral bitterness. Medium body, dry. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.
