Description

0,44 l can. Great label design as always. BB 02/27. Looks like orange juice with a small white head. Intensive yeasty aroma, crisp sweet tropical. Taste starts also tropical fruity, more stone fruity than grape. Sweetness in the background. Alcoholic. Present bitterness. Thick and complex texture. Below average carbonated. Great stuff.

Keg at If It Ain't Dutch. Hazy orange. Thin foamy white head. Sweet citrus and a light vinous and herbal element. Medium bitter with light sourness. Underlying porridge. Medium bodied. Soft-flat carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Enjoyable not overpowering stuff.

330 ml can. Pours almost black with a short dark tan head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of chocolate syrup, vanilla, treacle, soft sweet bourbon and slick roasted malts. Flavors of dark chocolate, vanilla, dark sugars, a touch of cinnamon, diluted bourbon and oily toasted malts. Not getting chilies though maybe some burn in the finish. A subtle Mexicake Stout. Very good.

Can from Drankgigant.nl, Vlissingen, Netherlands and consumed at home Thursday 5th February 2026 listening to Huw Stephens on 6Music, it's Round Table later so we'll listen to that. Pours hazy gold with a large white head. An initial sip and I wouldn't have guessed that it was an American IPA, a touch juicy and clearly hoppy with some bitterness but after a while it's moving into regular IPA territory even if it feels like it's got a touch of juicy/hazy NEIPA about it. Nice. Score 7.3
