Tap at põrgu. Pours dark amber. Aroma is fruity, wild yeast, funky. Flavor is sweet and bitter, medicinal, malt, funky, dry. Overall: weird, but I don’t mind it.

On tap at Põrgu Õllelokaal, Tallinn. Dark and muddy, hazy amber with a dense, lasting, off-white head. Somewhat wooden and earthy, with notes of balsamic vinegar, sour dark berries and hints of malt and caramel. Reminds me a bit of Flemish red, guess it’s from the oak chips, and then with the acididty from the Brett it certainly gives some associations. Medium sweet with slightly funky and wooden flavours with notes of berries. Nice acidity, but not sure if this is right up my alley. Draft sample @ Põrgu. Léger ambrée, col fin beige. Arôme au nez malté, céréale avec un petit rétro de levure, et une pointe épicée voire EKG pour les houblons. Malt de Maris, Palais est léger, fin avec une petite amertume basique des bitter anglaises. Retrouve un profil houblonné axé sur le noble anglais, fruité et fleuri avec un fini offrant juste ce qu’il faut de pétillant.

Draft sample @ Põrgu. Dorée couleur paille, col fin blanc. Arôme malt froment assez présent avec un rétro finement levure sur pointe d’épice, surtout coriandre. Palais est grains avec un côté épicé qui perdure en fin de bouche et rappelant pas mal la coriandre. Retrouve un ajout fruité oscillant entre noble des houblons et écorce d’orange.

Draft @ Põrgu. Brune foncée, col fin beige. Arôme est légèrement fumé, avec un petit rétro cara pâle, pils tirant vers allemand. Fumé persistant en rétro. Palais est également plaisant, axé sur une pointe de fumé avec un agréable fini tirant sur le chocolaté. Retrouve une petite pointe d’amertume presque fleurie en fin de bouche. Le tout est sec sur la fin avec un accompagnement de baies.

Draught @ Põrgu. Aroma has smoky notes and licorice. Also tobacco. Flavour has grain, ash, tobacco, smoke and licorice. Rather nice and rich stuff. Hard to believe that this is a lager - it has so strong stout vibes.

Tap at Porgu, Tallinn. Opaque color, small brownish head. Smoked, smole ham aroma, toasted maltyness. Medium-bodied. Peaty smokey, smoked ham flavors. Nice maltyness although feels a bit watery. Rauchbier with good drinkability.
