Draft glass @ Põrgu. Red hued black, solid creamy tanned head. Nose is smoked tea, bacon, grainy, smoked bark & coffee. Thick oily smoked tea, bbq, bark, plastic, thick oil, low molasses, low butter but doesn’t hurt,… Thick tea, faint plastic body, low flaws but the smoke works through it all.

Large draft glass @ Põrgu. Surprisingly dark, black basically pure syrup. Nose is black bread, some of their kitchen fresh bread that I tried but more bit roasted Baltic black bread, rye, pure bread syrup, raisin. Taste is insane, god tire Kvass, I didn’t know Kvass could even be this good, pure slick but not too thick oily uniform bodied thick black Baltic bread, dark cherry, raisin, pure bread, black cherries, raisin, pure stick, not to thick but pure syrup at the same time. 100 % genius in my opinion, exceeds beyond the style.

On tap at Prgu, pours black with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out smoked malt, light pear and a touch of roast. Flavour is nicely rounded, with plenty of smoke upfront, followed by toasted malt, peat and a hint of toasted caramel. Dry, peated body. Good stuff.

On tap at Prgu, pours a deep dark brown / black with no head. Aroma brings out toffee, licorice and root beer, with sticky molasses. Flavour is very sticky, with loads of molasses, brown sugar, root beer and licorice. Creamy and sweet, but quite complex. Nice stuff.

On nitro tap at Prgu, pours a deep dark brown / black with a small tan head. Aroma is almost nonexistent, with bready malt, not much else. Flavour is quite licorice-like, with bready malt and light licorice. Creamy and very bitter. Not a fan.
