Bad, bad, bad. Smells a little like cider but mostly sugar candy apple flavor. Taste is an acidic tangy mix of chemicals. Big canned brutal kick in the balls that they must justify by making money from.

Can: Poured a deep orangey color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of earthy and bitter hops is dominating. Taste is a good mix between some earthy hops with a medium bitter finish. Caramel malt backbone provides a nice balance to the hops with some light residual sugar. Body is quite full with good carbonation. A bit too sweet for my taste but still enjoyable nonetheless.

This porter poured a deep brown colour with a lacking, soapy head. Even after a vigorous pour... very little head. To the nose nose there are scents of molassass, light smoke, Melloids cough candies and brown sugar. First sip had a thin mouthfeel with flavours of smoke, burnt malt and spoiled maple. Finish is sweet and smokey. This is like most Nickel Brook beer, seriously lacking.

On tap at GCBF. Pours an orange brown with medium head. Hoppy aromas of spruce and citrus. Similar flavors with grapefruit coming through as the citrus. A pretty typical Northwest IPA.

500mL can, split several ways, pours a hazy golden orange with a big foamy beige head. Aroma of light resinous hops, syrup and lots of floral notes. Flavour is very floral, with soap, some vegetal notes, cotton candy, a little armpit / body odour - very strange flavours, not sure how much better I can describe this. Finishes vegetal and with a lingering bitterness. Bizarre - not so good.

Victory Cafe, Toronto bottle: Pours a brownish color with a beige head. Aroma is spice, cherries, and malts. Taste is very spicy and rather sweet. The cherry taste prevails on the undertone. This was a solid beer, but it was not really my thing at all. I would have difficulty having more than one. The alcohol, however, was well covered.
