750ml bottle from the LCBO. Pours a hazy very pale orange with a generous white head and lots of lacing. Nose is fresh cut grass, hay and citrus with a layer of honey in the background. Lots of hops bitterness through the front and middle but smoothed out by a peaches and honey sweetness. The finish could use some more punch. The body is light and slick with average carbonation. Very easy drinking.

Aroma of some citrus hops with a lot of malt here. More like an English Pale Ale in flavour. Leaves with light bitterness. Pours clear orange with decent head and lacing. Bottle.

(Draught at Bar Hop, Nov 1 2013) Pours black with a small pale brown head. Aroma has sweet chocolate malt, some pumpkin, roast, and a fairly large helping of cinnamon and clove. Flavour is dark malts with a sweet core, slight cooked pumpkin but big notes of clove and cinnamon, dry roast, slight vegetal hops. Finish is bitter, little sweetness remains from the malt, spice lingers. Body fairly light, the carb a bit high. Bit too heavy on the spice, not big enough a porter body to back it up and I like more pumpkin in my pumpkin beer.

750mL bottle, pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out maple syrupy, some dark fruits, almost a pumpkin-y note, and some winter spices. Flavour brings out winter spices, some light maple syrup, and dry roast. Way too carbonated, which throws everything off. Very dry and roasted - almost burnt. This is a big mess. Not good at all.

Beautiful bottle with an artsy penciled label and a bronze wax-dipped crown. Pours a cloudy deep amber colour with a big frothy beige head, good retention and thick foamy lacing. Very nice aromas of spices, oranges, raisins and some sourness. Not sure if this is infection or not, but the sourness is even more present in the taste. Fruit and spices are milder and the bourbon shows up slightly in the finish. A good spiced brew and would like to try the non-bourbon version.

This lager poured a clear light yellow colour with a big, bright white foamy head. Scents include corn, dough and malt. First taste was weak and watery with light corn / malt flavours most predominant. Finish is thin and lifeless. Disappointing.
