Bottled@PBF XII. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is ashed, smoked wet wood, herbs, alcohol and some liquorice. Flavour is liquorice, some toffee and mild smoked wet wood. Some alcohol in the finish too.

(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 26 Jan 2019) Pale amber colour, hazy, with frothy off-white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, toast, orange peel and hints of spices. Malty taste with bread, toast, orange peel, apricots, toffee and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Not very daring, but fairly tasty and balanced. Enjoyable.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ (PBF XII Tasting.) by oh6gdx ] - Petalax, Finland. [ As Trädskogens Corylus ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, roasted, sweet malt, chocolate, alcohol. Flavor is light heavy sweet with a long duration, chocolate, dark malt, sweet malt. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. IMO: a bit simple but not bad ... so maybe I was a bit happy ! [20180707] 7-3-7-4-14
