What can i say? I drank it when i was 16 and thought it was better than molson canadian and labatts. Today, having sipped a new one with a fresh mind, i can’t say much more. Avoid, unless your only choice is one of the aforementioned.

Canette 473ml.

Sort of a fizzy water. Not a real beer at all. Pale yellow with a thick head that soon departed. Not much aroma. Light watery body, almost no flavour. Only finish was a carbonated burp.

From December 2010 tasting notes. Can. Pale yellow with thin white head. Light citrus and yeast aroma. Flavor was fizzy, watered down citrus, musty finish. Thin watery palate.

Has a dark gold body with no head to speak of. Aroma is grain and caramel with a hint of tin. Taste is much the same, with a crappy mouthfeel hinting at adjuncts. Its only saving grace is that it’s better than usual for a macro lager.

Can and bottle. Lemon and light barley malt aroma. Pale yellow color with large head. Slightly sweet lemon and light barley malt flavor. Watery palate. Drinkable but very standard pale lager. Bottle gets more points for appearance but otherwise the same boring pale lager.

This brew is all marketing, and granted the marketing is excellent, but the beer doesn’t stand out among a thousand other pale lagers. It’s drinkable, though.

Bottle, 5%. Mild grass flavour, hint of bread. Served quite cold, does not taste of much. Low bitterness, clean finish.

Bottled in Kimberley, BC. Clear pale yellow, no head. Light citrus aroma. Dryish and clean - almost crisp. Sligh dusty citrus flavour, fairly light body. Low bitterness. The palest amber ale in existance?
