Malty aroma backed by some decent (not noble) hop. Deep golden color with a white head that was reluctant to stay. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Not your usual corny macro lager. It has pale malt, hop, and fruit follows the inital flavors. Floral hop? The finish is lightly sweet somewhat balanced by hop. It’s as good as some light ales, better than some too. Surprisingly good lager.

Brown bottle, 341 ml; eye: straw, clear, good effervescence, thin carpet of white head that remains, a bit of lacing; nose: malt, sugar, corn; mouth: thin, a bit of carbonation, a bit of corn, a good layer of sugar, malt is almost unnoticeable, finale all in a not-so-enjoyable caramel with a very slight hops presence, rather sweet; overall: so…

(Can 35,5 cl) Comes as "Kokanee Glacier Pilsener" - I reckon it’s this one. Another pale golden lager with the smallest imaginable white head. Sweetish corn aroma. Thin-bodied, accents of brewing cereal, but no real malty feel. And no bitterness either. "Brewed right in the Kootenays", the can proclaims - well, unfortunately it doesn’t help much... 040792

On tap Boise Hawks Basebal game. Pours out a clear amber topped with a white head. A aroma of light malt. Not bad on a hot summer day. I would have to say with my other choices this was the best. Or may be I should have gone for the Bud Light or maybe a Coors???

Can: Clear golden with a froathy white head. The aroma was not pleasant at all, it reminded me of old people smell. Taste was better with a grainy water taste, very drinkable beer.

The way that it was poured I got no head from this beer, but that was because the bartender did not care. Tastes like a normal canadian pale lager... except worse. I drank this then took a sip of Molson and this tasted somewhat worse. Even Labat has a better and more fulfilling flavour. There is nothing special about this brew.

12 oz bottle Pours out like a normal bud or something like that. Very lite with a white head. Not much there but does go down smooth.

Flavor is clean and easy to drink. Mild lager taste and widely distributed make this one of the better pale lager choices.

Tried a bottle of Kokanee Glacier Beer that my sister brought home from Canada during the summer of 2005.Light yellow color with a white head. Very light scent and flavor, easy to drink and easy to forget. Works well in the summer heat, but leaves a lot to wish for in taste.

Pale gold, heavily carbonated; huge, collapsing snow-white head. Dull-sweet malty and gassy nose, not very inviting. Sweet pale malts taste, vague liquorice flavour, soapy. Sticky, near-cloying MF; ends empty, starch-like. Vague aftertaste of decaying hay. Horrible concoction. What a terrible way to pollute water - just when glaciers are receding everywhere!
