Bottle, gift. Caramel and spiced rum aroma with notes of toffee, brown malt, dried fruit, candy. Medium sweet flavour, some booze in the finish. Above medium body. Pretty strong rum, nice to sip on.

330ml bottle outside the Henry VIII Pub in Valkenburg on 5th November 2025, the terrace heater keeping me warm and turning everything a red/orange colour. The beer poured a reddy brown with a beige crust. Strong Rum aroma and initial taste, soft boozy feel thereafter, yeasty, herbal and plums/raisins playing a part, nice sipping beer all round.

On tap as Henry's Blond at the Henry V111 Irish pub in Valkenburg on 3rd November 2025. Clean blond body, soft white crown. Server told me where the beer came from and I checked the Wilderen brewery beer list and found this. Yeasty and easy to drink, smooth and slightly herbal.

Roodbruin donker bier met schuim. Smaak is fruitig en licht bitter met iets van bessen, wat rode wijn, rozijnen en een klein beetje whiskey. Een fijn en opwarmend bier.

On tap. Pours a very dark copper color with full foamy head. Aromas of grass, sweetened raisins and bready malts. Flavors of earthy malts and dry caramel with a little fruitiness.

On tap. Pours a dark reddish brown with moderate foamy head. Aromas of caramel, dark fruit and bready malts. Flavors follow same with very subtle barrel effects and a big creamy malt influence. Nice.
