Aroma of fruits, Belgian yeast, sugar, some spices. Flavour is fruity and sugary, a bit too sweet, with a bittersweet finish. Drinkable but ordinary Belgian Ale.

330 ml bottle. Pours a dark brown with very slight head. Aromas of dark fruit, oak, orange peel, subtle whiskey, and sharp toasted malts. Flavors follow same with some additional candi sugar, although finish is nice and dry. Very good.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is sweet cherry, sugar, syrup, with some tart cherry. Flavour is mildly tart and very sugary sweet, enough to give me a toothache. Body is medium. Predictably way too sweet.

Deep amber colour, off-white head. Aroma is sweet caramel, with mild toffee and some slight wooden and mild whiskey tones to it. Flavour is caramel, toffee, whiskey and some mild sweet alcohol to it. Quite pleasant.

Bottle from a supermarket. Sweet brown malts with candy sugar, caramel, Belgian yeast, spicy notes, dried fruits, raisins. A hint of whisky infusion. Sweet flavour with a light bitterness, long sweet yeasty finish. Not bad, but I expected to taste more of the whisky.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, dark brown colour with ruby shimmer and huge, firm, frothy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, dark malty, yeasty fruity, and slightly woody aroma, notes of dark fruit, dried dark fruit, blue grapes, raisin, some morello, oak, rum. Taste is sweet-ish, slightly sugary, dark malty and yeasty fruity, minimally woody, notes of dark fruit, dried dark fruit, morello, blue grapes, raisin, maraschino cherry, a weak touch of rum and oak; minimally warming, alcoholic finish.
Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, dense, soft, creamy-foamy carbonation.
Mild, harmonious, rather clean, maybe a tad too sweet and sugary - enjoyable.
