Brouwerij Wilderen

Microbrewery in Wilderen, Limburg, Belgium 🇧🇪
Associated Venue: Alcoholstokerij / Brouwerij Wilderen

Established in 2011

Contact
Wilderenlaan 8, Wilderen, 3803, Belgium
Description

Bottle shared at CBJ - picked up in Sofia. Pours clear, ruby-red with a tight, creamy khaki head. Light to medium sweet flavour with rich toasted malts, a little dough, toffee, dried berries, a little yeast. Medium bodied with active, massaging carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more berries, yeast, toasted bread, light earthy bitterness. Not bad.

Bottle at home shared with Laura. Dark red to brown color with a red hue coming through when held into the light. Beige head. Aroma is malts, sweetish, barrel aging so I guess rum? Flavor is similar. Don't get much more. Hmm alright but I had higher hopes for this beer from this brewery. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cuvée Clarisse Omerta Rum Infused on 23 Feb 2025 at 15:26 - Score: Appearance - 9 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6.5 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5. Botrle at home. Beautiful deep mahogany red-brown color, clear, full sized beige head. Aroma is dominated by the rum. Flavor is quite similar, notes of the dark beer underneath but again the rum is quite dominant, notes of dark fruits like plums as well and some dark candy sugar. Decent. 9-6-6,5-8-6,5
