Pours a clear golden colour with an average white head. Aroma of malts, bread, ripe fruits.Taste is quite sweet, sugary. In fact, a bit too sugary for me to return to it. Also too much alcohol in the taste. Dry finish. Average at best, there are so many better tripels available.

Pours a deep dark amber/brown with a small beige head. Aroma of malts, slight dark fruits, brown sugar. Taste is quite sweet, with almost no bitterness. Overall, I’d say the Grimbergen beers are below average.

Pours a slightly hazy yellow/golden with a nice big white head. Aroma of citrus, yeast, fruits, hops, some spices. The Hapkin is a rather typical Belgian strong ale, but it’s enjoyable regardless.

Almost clear golden colour with a big white head. Aroma of malts, yeast, ripe fruits, coriander and some other spices. Flavour is medium to heavy malty sweetness. An okay beer, but nothing to get excited about.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso viene attratto dall'orzo tostato e dal caramello. La finezza olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma che resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine.Il liquido appare velato. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è normale e la permanenza è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di zucchero caramellato, caramello, miele, pane tostato e agrumi.

Aroma of malt, caramel, sweet and overripe dark fruits, sugar, raisins. Flavour is sickeningly sweet and alcoholic. Sticky mouthfeel. Nasty artificial aspect to it that totally ruins this beer. Overrated junk.

Bottiglia. Al naso arrivano indizi di caramellizzato. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Bollicine fini costituiscono anche la forma del perlage, con carbonazione vivace e persistente. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il finale è semplice e un po' ruvido. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Sul palato si riportano impressioni di zucchero caramellato, caramello, miele, frutta secca, pane cotto di recente, erbaceo, agrumi ed erbe aromatiche.
