Poured from 473mL can (pkg 2025 Mar 20). Clear blonde gold with small white head. Clean mild biscuit malt with melon hops, some pineapple, and a touch of pine on the finish. It's slightly subdued, but comes together nicely.

On tap at Threefold, pours a clear dull golden with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of dank hops, a touch of melon, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is bright and dank, with plenty of pot-like hops, pine, resinous hop oils, and just enough biscuity malt. Dank, oily, and really well-constructed. Excellent.

On tap at Threefold, pours an opaque yellow with a small white head. Aroma has a nice inviting tangy hop character, light white wine, and some muddled stone fruit pith. Flavour is much the same, with tangy hops, some gooseberry, and gentle melon. No chalky nonsense, just a nice gentle expression of the NZ hops. Very good.

200mL pour at Threefold. Pours murky yellow with a white head. White wine grapes and lemon citrus on the nose. Flavour has a clean lemony character and juicy grapes, a bit grassy. Not much bite, minimal bitterness. Clean drink, good NZ hop expression.

Poured from 473mL can. Hazy yellow gold with white head. Feint tang and dankness, but everything seems a bit muted, a touch yeasty, average, too muted.

473mL can, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Nose has some hopburn, some tanginess from the Nelson, and a touch of dankness. Flavour is very gritty, with the Nelson very much subdued, plenty of chalk, mild grittiness. Chalky, gritty, not much hop expression. Quite harsh. Not enjoyable.
