Deep dark brown with a decent beige head. Chocolate and some hazelnut notes. Light chocolate and a nutty finish. Quite solid for the style. An almost spicy not in the finish.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Clear golden colour, thin white foam head and aroma of malt, herby, earthy. Taste is malt, woody, caramel, currrant, with earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, tangy bitter finish. OK

2/1/2022. Can at the New Year beer share. From CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours clear dark gold with a foamy white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, herbs, fruit, slightly twiggy, slightly soapy. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Oily watery texture. Fizzy. Looked really good.
