Day 5: Schwarze Tinte Collab Stout 6% I kind of feel this is midway between a Stout and a schwarzbier. Ruddy reddish brown pour with thick bubbles of beige foam. The aroma to me says oats and caramel. Very Guinness stout like. The taste is similar, medium to full bodied and smooth but not with a caramel oat cookie flavor.

The can says this is a product of Germany but the flag on this site is for Austria. Pour is a dark brown almost black with a small bone white head. Aroma is a slight roasted malt and treacle. Flavor is more roasted malt and treacle. Very British porter feels here.

2022 Costco Advent Calendar. Can. I think this is the right one... Pours Reddish brown with a dusting of a head. Caramel nose, little else. Smells little like the stouts I know. Caramel, dish soap, malt. Tastes little like any stout I've had. Thin carbonation.

0,5 l can. Pours dark brown, medium tan head. Aroma is malty, toasted, plenty of chocolate, licorice. Taste is medium sweet, and low bitter, but it's light to drink. Medium finish pleasantly bitter sweet. Decent.

Half liter can, 12/14/20, #13 from the Costco advent calendar. Yes, I'm a day late. Didn't feel like ticking yesterday. And yes that means a full pint ahead! There are two entries this could have been and this seemed to be a little closer label and also more of a consensus of the advent calendar tickers. But who know what this really is? Dark brown, large fizzy brown head, good retention. Aroma of carob and banana. Hints of roast. Taste is roast, soy, carob, banana. Medium bodied. Decent. Somewhere between a stout and a dunkelweizen.

Roast and some light cream, nut. Easy drinking stout. Nothing too fancy but nothing wrong here either. Black pour with great head and lacing. Light bitter end. A little coffee. Can from advent calendar.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a hint of a pure black glow, but the bottom shows otherwise with a lighter brown note, all with a smallish, one to two centimetre tall tan head that fades quickly. Aroma of molasses, roasted malt, grain, brown sugar, caramelised sugars and a dose of oatmeal, all with some noticeable alcohol here. Medium-bodied; Nice and strong oatmeal and deep grainy notes show through with a lot of earthiness, some rustic qualities and a dash of vanilla coming through, all with a soft sweetness and a pungent toasted grain and coffee note towards the end. Aftertaste shows some rich earthiness along with a good deal of malt notes, but the vanilla and pure caster sugar sweetness are by far the strongest, in a good and smooth way. Overall, a nice and pungent sweet, nutty, earthy, malty and robust profile throughout with some smooth and easy-going notes, but the earthiness give this a deep and robust bite throughout. I sampled this 50 cL can, from Day #13 of the Costco 2020 Advent Calendar, purchased from Costco in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia sampled at my house here in Washington on 13-December-2020.

Day 13 of the CostCo Advent box. Pours dark brown/orange glints with a Guinnesslike head. Aroma of smooth toasted malt - not very burnt. Med body. Flavor is smooth toasted malt with a light touch of chocolate and un soupçon of chocolate. Not dry, but not really sweet. Kind of like a dark mild in some respects. Easy drinker.

Chocolate malt and hay aroma. Dark brown with large tan head. Moderately sweet molasses/chocolate malt and mildly bitter hay flavor. Good body. A bit underattenuated.

BBE 06/2020;Gusher but manageable with minimal loss;color is more bock/porter like that stout;aroma of toasted bread, crust, brown sugar, medium light malty & sugary sweetness-definitely more bock-porter like character, dry fruits, light roast with barley
