December 2020: Aroma of malts, caramel and mild spices. The flavour is also malty but not too sweet, notes of brown bread and mild earthy hops (EKG), hints of mild spices. Very drinkable, but not particularly exciting. Score: 3.2

Can. Gusher. Almost clear, golden to copper body, big, fluffy light beige head. Curtains. Some nice coffee in the aroma, with bready malts and a fruity touch. Pine cone hints. Medium to full body, nice carbonation, semi-dry. Decent bitterness. Bready malts, pine cones, generic fruityness, citrus zest and some coffee in the flavor. Quite lasting, dry finish. A decent brew, although a bit gentle on the coffee I think. Kinda too balanced. 250328

Can. Slightly unclear golden body with a big, fluffy white head. Nice and refreshing fruity aroma, tropical fruit and pineapple. Light anf fresh in flavor as well, light pale malt, lots of tropical fruit, hint of pineapple, moderate bitterness. Medium body and same refreshing fruity aftertaste. Quite light and straight-forward fruity beer, but actually very nice for a single hop and this hop is a new one for me. A positive surprise and I really like the freshness here.

Can. Hazy golden body with a nice, creamy white head. Aroma has citric fruit, peach, apricot, oranges and caramel malt. Flavor is sweet malt with hint of bread and biscuit, citric fruit, peach, apricot and oranges just like aroma, hint of marmalade and toffee. Nice bitterness. Fine body and tasty, bitter aftertaste. Not a super refreshing juicy, fruity, Suzy thing but a decent tasty, classic IPA that actually tastes something. Nice.

Tap @ Patricks. Clear pale golden with a small white head. Both aroma and flavor is acidic lemon and lots of yogurt. Lots of yogurt, I actually find the yogurt flavor dominating anything else than some lemon acid. Is it really supposed to taste like this? I don’t mind the acidity but I don’t appreciate the strong yogurt flavor.

On tap @ Patricks. Unclear yellow body with a small, fast disappearing yellow head, looks like orange juice. Aroma is oranges and grapefruit. The taste is… well it actually tastes a lot like a moderate alcoholic vodka and juice – not really that bad but that’s the first that struck me. To be a bit more kind I would say oranges, orange juice, some grapefruit and zesty bitterness. Medium body and a bit sharp and alcoholic aftertaste. It’s extremely one-dimensional but quite refreshing as well of course with bitter oranges flavor. Drinkable but I honesty wish I had gone for a sample and not a whole glass, still the sample would probably just feels like something refreshing as the alcohol sting appears about half way down the glass.

Can from Gulating. Unclear golden body with a big, fluffy white head. Nice, refreshing fruity aroma, grapefruit, citric fruit and a hint of lemon and pine cones. Flavor is nice and easy, light malt, fruity like aroma and medium bitterness. Medium body and aftertaste. Refreshing, easy drinkable and a bit straight forward.
