Draught, sample tray, at Café Sara. Patchy white head that laced well. Near-clear, amber coloured body. Drying aroma of fruity hops. Malt-fruty taste of orange and juicy malts followed by dry bitterness of citrus shells, long-lived. Foamy in the mouth. Pleasing and fine partner to Sara’s homemade burger (Oslo 18.08.2014).

Draught, Ølbrett menu, at Café Sara. Fawn-colured head blanketing the glass. Jet black body with a ruby glint. Dark malty aromas, bread and coffee hints. Well balances flavours of herbal hops, coffee, bread, and brittle caramel leading to a roasted ending. Soft on the swallow. Medium bodied. A tasty and well-crafted stout (Oslo 18.08.2014).

On tap @ Una. It's quite deep any dark brown looking this. Only a small but seriously lacing slightly beige head on the top. Smells like it's mildly roasted, lots of nice fresh coffee here any it also has hints of chocolate. The sweet kind. A little bit of fish stock also(?), but I like this. Yeah, smells nice roasted and inviting. Tastes really nice also. It has a light oily feeling in the mouth any it's about average on the big bubbled carbonation. That has actually been a theme in the latest beers I've had from 7 Fjell.. Thin chocolaty without being too much. A balanced roastiness that works really well with the nice sweetness this one has. It also has a nice little roasted tail with hints of mild coca and coffee. Yeah, definitely a successful one again. I'll have this again. 16.08.2014

On tap @ Una. This is a near clear deep golden looking one with a small but steadfast white lacing head. Really mild nose. Traces of pale malts and a mild sweetness. Other than that I cannot smell anything all here. It's almost a little like water. I don't have a cold or anything, its served in the normal horrible shaker that this place always servers it's beer in and I guess that's not really helping either. Tastes much better. It's a tad high perhaps on the big bubbled carbonation and it feels really thin oily, almost a little watery in the mouth. It definitely could have deserved a tad more body. Little grassy sting in this one. It's malty caramelly with hints of slightly harsh metal and a nice mild grape citrus sting towards the finish. Yeah, I find this really lightdrinkable and moreish. Wish only it had a little more aroma.. Have to give this another go in a better glass. 16.08.2014
