Flavour is slightly sweet and medium bitter. Body is light. Overall light and sessionable but plenty hoppy and aromatic. very chuggable.

Can from Beerdome. Aroma is strong coffee, tonka beans, cocoa nibs, powdery chocolate, and pale malt. Flavour is mild sweet and light bitter. Body is above medium. Funny with its pale malt base instead of roast. But it works.

440ml can, drank 1 week past BBE. Look - slightly hazy gold with a yellow tinge, moderate aerated head but low retention. Nose - grainy malts, yeast, grass and floral hops. Taste - grains, sweet malts, grass, floral but has a nice little citrus zing before a notable bitterness kicks in. Palate - light to moderate body and good for the ABV. Slightly aggressive carbonation. Quite enjoyable.

440ml can. Pale clear gold, moderate sized white head, some retention. Sweet, grainy, grass, straw, citrus. Taste is sweet light biscuit malts and a grassy bitterness, some straw and lemon. Light body but an oily mouthfeel so may lack the cleanness of a German lager although I like the bitter hoppy finish.

440ml can from Micro Beer Crate. Pours black with small tanned head, average retention. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts, earthy to spicy hop; good. Taste starts with the roasted malts, then sweetness and tangy almost zesty citrus but not overdone. Finish has roast, coffee, chocolate notes, hint of spice. Medium bodied, fairly smooth, decent. Good stout.
