Description
Brewed in Silchester and drawing inspiration from new world hops, Germany’s malts and beer styles from across the globe, we vow to make your drinking experience as enjoyable as our brewing.

The Brewery was taken over in early 2022. The new owner then bought Boss Brewing Company in Swansea. Boss went into liquidation, but restarted, and in 2023 Wild Weather closed the Silchester site and relocated to join Boss in Swansea.

Keg at the Lyric, Soho. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The aroma is rich, sweet, oily, honey, stewed orange, tropical vibe, mango, tangerine, passion fruit, candied peel and marmalade. The taste is smooth, bitter, oily, resinous, pine, hop spice, juicy, sweet tangerine, mango, kumquat, pineapple, green banana, honey and a touch of alcohol warmth through the finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and slick mouth - feel. Drinks way easier than it should. Pretty nice.

Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Clear golden-amber with a thin white head. Lovely orange, tropical fruit and grapefruit set against good rich malts. Slight earthiness in the finish. Good balance of sweet and bitter, maybe sweeter than average for the style. Full resinous mouthfeel. Lovely brew, liking this brewery more and more.

Cellar clean out session Pt Deux. Hazy orange beer, thin cream colour head. Punchy peach nose. Palate is light, dry and has modest fine carbonation. Thin malts. Tangy peach that like version 1, turns bitter. Peel bitterness in the finish. Good peach, just get needs the bitterness dialing down.

Cellar clean out session. Opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Tangy dark malts, mellow coffee. Mild milky sweetness. Touch of tangy fruits and then a floral bitter finish. Clean but just another stout.

Hazy orange - gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light, mildly dry and has fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, mildly sweet. A bare whisper of smoke and certainly not enough to grind my gears. Light orangey hop, touches of lemon and hop spice. Mild pith on the semi dry finish. Hangs together well.

Cask at the Fox & Hounds, Caversham. A pale amber colour with a loose cream head; floral aroma with some summery fruit; sharp fruity taste - underripe apricot - then a citrusy bitterness; and a long dry fruity bitter finish. Rather good.
