Description
In 2012, The Harbour Brewing Co. was just a fledgling idea: to brew proper beer reflecting the land (and shores) from where it came. Taking the best raw ingredients - awesome hops, Cornish spring water tapped straight from the source - and bringing them to life through dedication to technique. The concept evolved by the ocean - hence, 'Harbour' - but the beer came into being on the farm. There is joy in returning to the roots of the ingredients. And the heritage of the space, of the land, of the ocean, remain our inspiration.
Everything clicks; the farm is Harbour's home.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 12/10/2012. Deep gold with a decent, off-white head. Aroma of pineapple, mago and gooseberry. Flavour was sweetish, with some biscuity malt, more tropical fruit and a dryish finish. Good.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 12/10/2012. Deep gold with a decent sized, off-white head. Tropical fruits, a touch of pine and balancing solid malts, before a lingering dry finish. Very good.

Light amber, clear, dense white head
Aroma - sofr citrus hops, grapefruit, some mango, light sweet malt backbone. Mainly all hops, great aroma
Taste as aroma, hint of grassy hop but mainly sweet and quite fruity, nice hop malt balance
Palate - soft carb and medium body, fairly sticky texture, pretty sweet, nice fruity sweet malts and citrus. Finish - sweetness counteracts the bitterness just right, a fairly bitterish faint tail
Overall - This is a really well made and tasty IPA

Bottle from Stirchley Wines and Spirits, Birmingham. Clear copper pour with a thin white frothy head and a little lacing. Malty aroma and a malty flavour with some toffee notes. Nice bitterness on the palate. Needs to be drunk young, fresh and not too cool. The flavour developed and this beer got better as it got warmer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
