Cloudy medium orange body, thin cream head. Juicy nose with sweet, tart papaya and orange. Body earthy with moderate sweetness, a crisp citrus bite, papaya, and melon. Clean, well-balanced, and tasty.

Howler pour from the brewery. Pours deep brown to black with a light tan head. Cocoa roasty aroma, molasses, touch of anise. Flavor has some roastiness, cocoa, coffee, molasses, and vanilla. A pretty nice one.

Howler pour. Pours a clear brown with an off-white head. Light roasty cocoa aroma. Flavor is again light: lightly roasted , malty coffee and cocoa. It's alright, but nothing exciting.

Can from Drafting Table. Pours a clear gold with a finger of white foam that dissipate. Bright tangerine and dank pineapple on the nose. Palate is similar with a dry, dank finish prefaced by loads of tropical fruit and sweetness. Classic and on the mark.

Canned 10/20/23, drunk 12/27/23. Moderately hazy, bright brass-golden. Large, well-retained, white head. Strong citrus and pine with fruity yeast and round, honey-like malts. The yeast and malt is NE and the hops are WC. Soft, malty, rich, good attenuation and great bitterness. A bit piney and west coast for my weak new England sensibilities, but I can respect the combo. Clean, fruity, lightly chewy, lightly juicy. A good compromise and certainly plentifully bitter for the style.

Canned 11/10/23, drunk 12/23/23. Clear brass-bronze. Small, off-white head quickly to spotty cover. Smells like an IPA from mid 2000's - piney, resinous, hard grapefruit. Throw in a bit of crystal malt and call it a day. Hard grapefruit rind, resinous pine, scratchy, toasty crystal malt. On the plus side, it's well-malted and appropriately attenuated with no alcohol or flaw. Not TOO heavy on the resin or crystal malt. And the excellent maltiness goes a long way to help balance.
