Appearance: dark brown close to black in the glass with a swiftly dissipating off white foamy head, no lace
Aroma: milk chocolate up front with sweet to tart raspberry whiffs, light vanilla/sweet cream character backing that up, subtle roasty coffee quality further back
Flavor: combines all the prior noted aromas semi-sweet, tart, roasty and a light touch of bitter; super light aftertaste of the raspberry and chocolate
Texture: medium bodied, good sipper; fairly clean on the smoothness on my tongue; finishes briskly with the raspberries and chocolate
Overall: I'd say a very nicely done imperial pastry stout I'd be willing to have again.

Appearance: dark brown close to black in the pour but more leaning towards black in the glass; a quickly dispersing little eggshell white foamy head died off and didn't leave any lace
Aroma: milk chocolate up front then the chili peppers provide some heat with a light earthy to woody tone to it; light vanilla beans and coffee tones enter in for balance
Flavor: sweet and roasty with some spicy peppery heat entering in more with balance as I sipped the beer more; mild aftertaste of spicy heat, roasty coffee tones and sweet milk chocolate
Texture: medium bodied, great sipper; the spicy heat hits my tongue but doesn't slay it as much as I thought it would have; finishes with the spicy head, milk chocolate sweetness and coffee roastiness
Overall: I like this imperial pastry stout and would welcome it again as a nice dessert beer for an ender to a night.

Appearance: jet black in the pour and also in my glass with a finger's worth of khaki foamy head which slid off delicately to leave some light lace
Aroma: dark chocolate, milk chocolate, sweet cream, some maple in there for the balance then some coffee earthy to semi-sweet contours
Flavor: generates a nice blend of the prior noted aromas, mild aftertaste of the dark chocolate and maple
Texture: medium bodied, good as a sipper, very smooth along my tongue; finishes very smooth with the maple, chocolate and coffee notes
Overall: a very nicely done pastry imperial stout I believe I would come back to.

Aroma: dark chocolate, coffee roastiness, light caramel/toffee malts, some toast and light nuttiness
Flavor: moderately sweet flanked by some light bitterness and roasty tones; mild aftertaste of coffee and dark chocolate
Texture: medium bodied; great sipper, semi-smooth along the tongue with some roasty abrasion but not really aggressive - just noticeable; finishes fairly medium to long with some coffee roasty tones
Overall: nicely done imperial stout very worthy of coming back to.
