Pours a clear, bright, coppery-orange with deeper rust hues and a beige head atop that slowly fades to cover.
Interesting cereal notes mix quickly with citrus and yogurt as acetic acid enters the mix, as well. It's definitely a robust nose with plentiful acidity, but there's juiciness from the grapes that helps to balance. Like most American (and to be honest, a handful of lambic producers) wild blends, there's a little bit more acetic character than you generally want, but here it's not over-the-top. The malt isn't thin either, lending aforementioned cereal-like notes with more rustic grains and moderate amounts of honey and caramel. Floral notes and even light tropical fruits from the Brett linger on the finish with no alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth it's malty, soft, well-attenuated, with interesting bitterness/astringency from the birch and honey/caramel malts mixing with light cereal and juicy grapes. Fruity Brett and lightly tart lactic acidity slowly gives way to acetic character, but it doesn't stick to the throat/linger and despite the burst of sourness and light vinegar, it vanishes from the palate quickly, leaving honey, cereal, citrusy Chardonnay and Brett lingering. Not a masterpiece and a bit disjointed here and there, but still well done.

From Nate: pours orange with a white head. Aroma is lemon, cherry, funk. Taste is fruity and sour. Taste does not have as much cherry as one would expect, in fact, it seemsd a little more citrusy. Body is velvety and smooth. Lively aftertaste.

500ml bottle. Pours orange. Pear, lemon, orange, very floral, bit of a funky oaky thing. Medium body. Really tart finish. Nice.

Slight hints of some German pils hops or similar, interesting sweetness

500 ml purchased at Yankee Spirits, Sturbridge. Paid $8.09. Bottled May 2018. Appearance is Reminiscent of grapefruit juice. Normally I really dig fresh Brett IPA’s. The Brett has slowly started to change this brew as it sat on a warm shelf since May. I am sure I would score a fresh example higher. Still good.

Aroma of sour wheat, light acid, lemon juice. Cracker malt, lemon, and a low salinity. Also a very low pucker factor after the sip. Leans on the traditional side of Gose and has a classic character.

Aroma of acid, saline, and green leaves. Flavor has solid salinity with a touch of lemon. Mint doesn’t stand out here at all. Overall, as it should be.
