Dark brown, no head. Fairly coffeeish aroma, and on the palate there's a bit of vanilla. On the palate, it is a bit thinnish, not too thin, but less than the best. There's still some coffee. It's good.

355mL can, pours black with a small tan head. Nose is full of toasted pistachios, maple syrup, cocoa, and deep coffee. Flavour has plenty of cognac-soaked nuts, toasted malt, and earthy coffee. A bit muddled and lacking cohesion, but there’s nice coffee character. Good.

On tap at Birreria Volo, pours black with a monstrous tan head. Aroma has deep roasted coffee and plenty of earthiness. Flavour is dry, with plenty of earthy coffee dominating. Not much flavour depth; just a lot of dry, earthy coffee. It’s alright.

On tap at Beertown - Toronto, pours an opaque golden orange with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of muffled oats, pithy stone fruits, and a touch of citrus fruits. Flavour is much the same, with oats, pithy stone fruits, and totally obscured hops. Typical hazy in many ways, but without the hopburn. Lots of chaotic oats and suspended yeast. Not a fan.

A golden ipa with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, sweet biscuit malt with resinous hops, light mineral notes, light fruity esters, pleasant. In mouth, crisp biscuit malt with resinous piney hops, light mineral notes, light cereals, pleasant and smooth. On tap at Cheshire Cat.
