Bottle. Clear golden pour, three finger tall fluffy white head. Alex age retention. The aroma is mostly hoppy. Floral, spicy. Pale malts in the background. Light body. Dry taste. Soft yet reasonable hopping. The hops have the profile mentioned above. Light bitterness. I liked it.

0.5L bottle into a trappist glass:) the waiter thought it would be passable. Hazy chestnut brown. Aroma: phenols, dark malts, bread. Lightest body. Medium dry taste. Malts and yeast. Low bitternss. This is the case of a disappointing dunkelweizen.

Maybe too old.... Clear amber with no head. Aroma is honey phenols cinnamon, slight grapes and dates. Fine and nice. Taste is intense sweet almost like a mead, some bitter malt and spices. Oily and quite smooth, however rubber in the finish. Not ugly though. Overall ok.

Bottle. Murky brown color with tan head that goes down quickly. Aroma is rotten fruits, phenolic-boozy, bready, a bit dusty. Taste is more rotten fruits, a bit minerally, dry finish. Quite high carbonation. Is this intended to be like this? It’s not very pleasant.

*Bottle found at Zisch, Wilhelmshaven. 2011er bottle 3887. Smooth sweetish and yeasty ripe fruity beginning. The beer is smooth but sweet. Vanilla, ripe banana. Not typical Belgium yeast here, but round and refreshing. Not much bitterness, but a sweetish aroma rests on the tongue. Interesting but not too flavourful.
