11/11/8/10/12/13/11

On Tap at BA Folkis. Almost clear, amber liquid with medium to big off-white head. Aroma is very fruity with notes of fresh hops, marijuana, grapefruit, candy, pineapple, red berries and grass. Lots of Simcoe like action. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter with lots of fruity notes and berries. Nice! Medium bodied with nicely soft carbonation. Great aroma, great taste. Awesome IPA.

650ml bottle. Darkest brown with huge firm frothy lacing tan head. Citrussy and minimally grassy hop aroma with roasty malt notes in the background, also some coffee. Taste has a roasty malt basis with explicit coffee notes, citrussy hop overtones, conjoining to a spicy, peppery ensemble with a touch of shallot, onion and carrot; dry to bitter hoppy and roasty finish.

65 cl bottle @ home, bottled on 03.11.2012
Loud sound when opening the cap and lots of foaming when pouring – even though I tried to be careful. Aroma is rather nice with roastiness, some resin, coffee and biscuits. Flavour has resin, hops, pine needles, some roastiness and licorice. Ashy and somewhat sticky finish. Not bad, but usually beers in this style are better.

Tap at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. Pours dark brown with a rich, tan foam head. Moderately roasty aroma with some dusty, piney hops and grapefruit. Nice and roasty flavor, good bitter cocoa, medium sweet, notes of grapefruit. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Bitter and robust roasted malt finish with nice, moderately sweet cocoa and resinous pine. A very solid black IPA, start to finish.
