Can.
A- Dark brown color, opaque liquid, beige head.
A- Chocolate, chilies, mild vanilla.
F- Spicy, habanero, cinnamon, faint chocolate, faint vanilla.
T- Full body, slightly creamy texture, average carbonation, spicy finish.
O- I'll be in the minority here but this is way overhyped. I can see why 15 years go it was a whale but now, there are significantly better mole stouts out there. The habanero here was hot. The peppers overwhelm almost every other flavor reducing the complexity. If the peppers were not the star of the show it would be really great but just very disappointed on the heat level with this one.

Buying this beer at the sterk, a couple of years ago at the sterk. It was perfect yesterday with a rainy weather, solid and full body imperial stout, sweet and smooth, roasty, chocolate, marshmallow, vanilla, boozy, a bit bitter at the final, 😍 03.05.24

This beer is a dream. The taste is perfect between a side of cake, sweet and roasted malt, hop, vanilla. The kind of beer to drink slowly, 14.11.16

Can: Poured a hazy yellow with a white head that dissipated to a whispery ring. Aroma is huge peanut butter, underlying fruits, biscuit. Taste is orange citrus, peanut butter, hoppy, cookie and candy like.

Pours hazy orange-gold with a foamy, fizzy white head that lasts. Citrus, peach notes, lots of floral notes, rye almost non-existent.

Can (4/24/25) from Steve. Opaque, inky black, nice viscosity, ephemeral fizzy head, no sparkle or lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla, peppers. Taste is strong roasted malt, habanero pepper, then cinnamon, later vanilla. Smooth, thick texture, strong habanero warmth/heat, full bodied, soft carbonation, mostly warm finish with some vanilla and cocoa. A lot of complexity here but the habanero heat is a bit too dominant. I wish the taste had been more like the aroma.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: black in the pour and black in the glass with a two finger tan foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace.
Aroma: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, light coconut, some pineapple; treacle and some coffee roastiness
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to subtle roasty quality; finishes with some milk chocolate, coconut and pineapple
Texture: medium bodied; good sipper; some smoothness to this but also some coffee grinding it's way into the tongue (though, very light)
Overall: a very nicely done pastry impy stout I would welcome again.

Can.
A- Golden orange color, hazy liquid, off white head.
A- Stewed apples, powder sugar, vanilla, vomit.
F- Baked apples, cinnamon, brown sugar, vanilla, pie crust.
T- Light body, average texture, medium carbonation, complex finish.
O- The nose was pretty awful with the aroma of my toddler's vomit. That did let up a little as it warmed but it was a pretty hardcore rotten apple/puke smell. The flavor however was much much more delightful. Started off at first sip a bit one dimensional of mostly cinnamon apple but as it lingered on the palate you got waves of caramel, graham cracker, vanilla, buttery pie crust. Really pretty nice. If the aroma was better this could be very solid.
