MòR is Scottish Gaelic for great, so naturally our beers are great too. It can also mean big, just like the flavour we craft into each brew.
All our beer is craft brewed in small batches at our Dundee brewery in Kellas, Tayside.
None of our beer is filtered or pasteurised. Plus it’s all Vegan-Friendly, which means fuller, fresher, longer lasting flavours for everyone.
First brewed early 2012 as Mòr Brewing Ltd. Relaunched in 2019 under new ownership with new recipes, new branding and a trained MSc qualified head brewer.

Bottle conditioned 500ml bottle: BBD Feb 2016. Bought from the Aldi Scottish beer fest shelves. Shared with a mate in Edinburgh on 24th Oct 2014. Poured a clear amber with a thin white head. Aroma was a fruity/malty blend, as was the taste: pleasant enough, ends with a mild bitter finish.

500ml bottle from Aldi. Pours clear amber, short-lived white head. Aromas of light honey and spice. Taste brings a nuttiness, and a good resin bitterness. Light fruity sweetness. Bitter finish. Decent.

500ml bottle. Pours dark amber, slightly cloudy. Sweet malty aroma, taste is initially malty with heavy hopping aftertaste. I like this

Cask at Cloisters Scottish Beer Festival. Pours clear amber, bubbly white head. Aromas of light fruit, light malt. Taste is thin and watery, some light sweet flavour in the background. Didn’t enjoy this.

Cask at Guildford Arms. It pours clear golden-amber wit ha decent white head. The nose is toasty, biscuit, stewed orange, peach, apple, mild spice and caramel. The taste is bitter, woody, resin, grapefruit peel, orange peach and varnish with a lingering dry-bitter finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Pretty solid bitter citrus action.

Cask at The Scottish Real Ale Festival 2014. Pours clear dark brown, thin off-white head. Aromas of chocolate and dark fruits, light dung. Taste’s light fruit’n’nut chocolate bars. Light coffee. Not bad.
