The brewery was founded in 1886 by Gustave De Ryck as ‘Brewery the Golden Eagle’ in the eastern part of Flanders in front of the church in Herzele . Herzele is not only our home base, it's the source of the typical and unique flavor you discover in our beers. We value our origine, our environment and our local market.

Cloudy gold with a huge white frothy head of perfect retention. Meadow flowers, pale malt, honey, spicy yeast traces, hay, fruty esters, grass. Medium dry to light sweet. Light hop bitterness increasing towards the aftertaste. mellow. Good.

Halmgul vätska med vitt krämigt skumlock. Aromer av koriander, lite honung och en lätt degighet. Lätt maltighet med ett litet kladd som övergår i fruktiga smaker, med angenäm örtighet. Torr och lättsam med eldfyllig munkänsla.
