Tap at Craft House. Bright, clear golden. Great nose, biscuits, bread, lovely malt. Soft lemony and herbal hops. Delicious malt flavor, lemony hop is a bit more than standard for the style. A bit too fruity and sweet, but the body is soft and silky as it should be. Nice one.

Tap at Komachi. Deep orange-amber, cloudy. Nose is quite unique, with orange, watermelon, rich stone and citrus fruit. Flavor is surprisingly pithy and resiny, interesting fruitiness, but a bit of astringent roughness in the finish.

TY Harbor x Ise Kadoya Reiketsu IPA 7% A brownish orange amber with off-whitdd red foam and big zesty grapefruit hop bouquet. Medium bodied, citrus zest and wine like yeast notes. Quite interesting.

pale light hazy color. Very estry nose with good Belgian funk and good bitterness. Medium carbonation. Decent

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Oct 22. Deep brown pour, foamy off-white head. Good nutty profile, twiglets, malt-forward.. a bit more body and depth would be welcome but a nice sipper all the same.

Ise Kadoya Dank IPA 5.5% Less than 400¥ at Don Quixote is a pretty good deal! Crystal clear gold with dense off-white foam and a citrus/grapefruit somewhat fruity hop bouquet which to me doesn’t scream dank. The taste is more dank with pine and citrus. The pine bitterness up front while the citrus shows up in the finish with a balancing malt sweetness. Really easy drinking, it has a lingering bitterness and I’d say this is a solid example of a west coast ipa and tastes fresh as hell (no canning date but BB 07/28/2023). Medium bodied with quite a dry finish. This hits the spot.

24th October 2022, mini gathering at Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury; just three of us sharing beers and talking bollox. Cheers Mat for the 33cl bottles of this: BB 22nd March 2028. Brown body, tanned topping, aroma of cobwebs and chocolate, taste was chocolate and malts.

Tap at Takumiya. Bright gold color with a bit of haze. Fresh noble hop nose, herbal, spicy, crisp malt. Amazingly fresh and crisp, lemony and herbal hops, crackery malt, prickly finish. Quite great. The finish is just a bit too rough.
