56,8cl bottle from Rimi, Riga. Pours dark mahogany coloured with a slightly tanned head. Rather mild malty aroma with some lightly roasty notes, dark fruits, caramel and hints of raisins and dark bread. Fairly sweet, but not unbalanced. Malty flavours with slightly bready notes, reminds me a little bit of kvass, but certainly with more body and balance. Some bitterness present. Quite tasty and easy to drink, nothing special, but quite decent.

Country #74. Thanks Tomer!!. Orange color with a quickly diminishing white head. Aroma has notes of floral hops, herbal hints, soma caramel. Flavor is slightly bittery with notes of caramel, good malrtiness, Medium body with a slightly sweetness.

Bottle from Rasputin’s, Ipswich. Pours a pale golden colour with a decent sized white head. Light hoppy aroma. Medium sweet, average carbonation. Slight bitterness to finish.

Can from Rasputin’s, Ipswich. Chestnut brown coloured beer with a tan head. Sweet, malty aroma with caramel, syrup and prunes. Very sweet. Thin texture, soft carbonation, sweet finish. It’s ok but sweetness is rather overpowering.

568ml bottle, cheers jeevan! Pours, well, amber, big white head. Slightly nutty aromas, lagery, light hay. Taste is light caramel, not a right lot else. Clean finish, ok.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkelgoldenes Bier mit schöner weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht getreidig, malzig, ansonsten ziemlich schwach. Geschmack leicht fruchtig malzig, leicht herb, getreidig, etwas süß.

24th Aug 2014: shared bottle at the Midlands meet. Pours an amber colour with a weak, thin white covering. Malty molasses give the beer a sweet nature, aroma and taste. Not a lot of bitterness or hop presence to be found.
