Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht getreidig, leicht malzig. Geschmack malzig, leicht würzig, etwas süß, ansonsten wässrig.

50cl bottle from Rimi, Riga. Pours hazy amber to orange, with an off-white head. Moderate malty aroma with some fruity notes, hints of yeast, citrus, malt and hints of caramel. Moderate to medium sweet with some acidity and a very light bitterness. Quite okay.

50cl bottle from Rimi, Riga. Pours slightly hazy pale yellow with a small, white head. Mild grainy aroma with some bready notez and light floral hints. Moderate sweet with grainy flavour and a lightly bitter finish with a hint of citrus. Pours a quite pale golden color, topped with a small and quickly disappearing white head. A relatively strong malty aroma with some skunky smell present. The taste is quite sweet, lots of malts and cardboard feel to it. Slight bitterness in the finsih, but not enough. Too sweet to be really enjoyable.

Flaska från SB. Halmgul vätska med lite skum. Brödig arom med inslag av metall. Fadd smak med drag åt kokta ärtor. Vilket stolpskott.

Half-litre bottle found in Boston, Lincolnshire and consumed in my back garden on 1st June 2014, some 28 days before it’s BBD. I had been cutting the lawns and washing the car, so I thought I would reward myself with a lager: this is that lager. Typical lager/pilsner look, golden, bright, clean and clear, on top the usual white head, this one hung around a while, unlike most it this style/type and class. Grainy and semi-sweet in both the nose and taste. Refreshing and thirst quenching, again like most in this type of beer. Nothing wrong with it, nothing to set it apart from thousands like it around the world either. In short, a bog standard, if a little on the sweet side ’mass produced lager’.

2 l plastic bottle @ Hämeenpuisto, Tampere. Thanks FatPhil! Yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is harsh grains, mild floral notes as well as some rubbery notes. Flavour is grains, mild nuclear waste and some slight rubbery notes. Interesting that this has such a harsh taste, it actually hides the 7 % alcohol in it.

Gul klar i fargen med minimalt hvitt skum. Metallisk, papir, malt og kornlukt. Lite smak, noe søt malt, noe bitterhet i ettersmaken, medium kullsyre.
