50cl can from Riga Airport. Pours pale golden with a short lived white head. Lightly fruity and grainy aroma with notes of cooked vegetables and hints of hops in the background. Medium sweet with a very light bitterness in the finish. Just another watery and pretty flavourless pale lager. Drinkable enough and refreshing under the right circumstances.

Bottle at home in London - courtesy of the Kris Wines. Pours clear, light yellow with a wimpy, white cream head. The nose carries simple dry doughy pale malts, some metal, hay. Light to medium sweet flavor with cereal, lightly biscuity pale malts, white bread, white sugar, light bitter hay. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Sweet finish, ever so slightly syrupy, with more cereal, dry white bread, faint bitter hay, suggestions of grass and biscuits. Pretty solid pale lager, though just a touch syrupy at times.

Can courtesy of jackl.... It pours deep red-brown with a small beige head. The nose is caramel, wood, fart, treacle and raisin. The taste is caramel, dark fruit, raisin, cherry, brown sugar and cherry cola with a rather sweet finish. Light body, moderate carbonation and sticky mouth-feel. Sweet, one-dimensional pseudo-soft drink.

Big offwhite head. Beautiful clear amber body. Papery mealy aroma with vague caramelly notes. Dry-sweet papery caramelly taste with earthy notes. Faintly acidic, too. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish mealy papery aftertaste with earthy notes, vaguely unclean. It’s OK. (0.568l bottle, from Stockman, Riga.)

500ml can brought from Riga to our XiX Rating Session 22.03.12. Mahogany clear body, with fair beige head that leaves some lacing. Cooked cabbage, dark malt and alcohol, which is also mirrored in the taste along with charcoal, dust and some sweet notes. Smoky finish. The content does not live up to the quite nice can design, so it looks better than it tastes.

Canned. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is rubber, rotten vegetables, mild chlorine and some other not too clean things. Flavour is chlorine, cardboard, paper and some hay.

Big brown head. Clear dark reddish brown body. Earthy brown sugar and rye bread aroma with spicy raisins notes. Sweet-dryish honey and raisins taste with pumpernickel notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, flat mouthfeel. Dryish roasty honey aftertaste with spicy earthy notes. Nice and drinkable. (0.568l can from Stockmann, Riga.)

Can. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark red amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Almost no roast of´r licorice. Metallic. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.
