Bottle from Rasputin’s, Ipswich. Very light straw colour, pours OK and considering it descibes itself as a ’light’ I’d say it sort of ’does what it says on the tin’. But it’s quite non-descript really.

Can at Chriso tasting, thanks once again to Leighton - shere K(v)lass !18/11/12. Mid chestnut brown with a thin tan head that soon dissipates to the edge of the glass. Nose comprises malt, rye, brown bread, light chocolate, toffee, nuts. Tastes of sweet toffee, grain, sweet soreen malt loaf. Light to medium bodied with soft light carbonation leading to a sweet sugar rush in the finish. In comparison to the other Kvass this is surely a Rolls Royce amongst Kvass!

Can at Chriso Tasting, London - brought along by this guy! Pours clear, ruby-brown with a fine, tan cream. Sugary toffee and butterscotch in the nose. Medium to big sweet flavor, some berries, wet brown bread, brown sugar. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sugary sweet finish with more toffee, some nuts, toasty sugars. Yeah...it’s actually one of the better examples of kvass that I’ve encountered.

Bottle, 5.2%. Almost clear golden colour. small white head. The flavour is a little bit papery. Tastes unfiltered, and also looks it a bit, I suppose. But not bready or yeasty in the good way.

Naprawdę średnie piwo jeśli chodzi o smak. W sapachu słoma i kukurydza. Za to wygląd piany i klarowność bardzo dobra. Zwłaszcza piana która wystaję o kilka centymetrów ponad szklankę.
