Clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet, lots of alcohol, sugar, caramel, some vanilla, pretty malty, bourbon, sweet. Aftertaste: bitter, hoppy touch, little sour, vanilla, caramel, soft roast, coffee, some cocoa powder.

Bottle shared at home. Very dark ruby-brown pour with a tall tan head with decent retention, that eventually gives way to a sticky lacing. Notes of roasted malts, smoke, dark chocolate, cocoa, molasses. Medium to full bodied, low carbonation and a roasty bitter-sweet finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Old Growth Imperial Stout on 22 Aug 2016 at 18:57 - Score: 8

Tap at Watering Hole. Pours a slightly hazy copper with a finger of foam. Light orange and brown sugar notes with some light (albeit muted) tropical notes. Feels kind of heavy on the palate, rich malt but with some nice hoppy bitterness. Some more orange and honey. Finishes bitter with some sweetness. Old school.
