Can shared. Pours clear orange golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, caramel and light fruity hops. Aroma hop character is very muted, maybe the can was sat on the shelf too long? Flavor is light moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Burk@Bishops Arms.

Dark brown, aroma is toasty, slight molasses, and a dash of brown sugar. Fairly full body, sweet, rounded sugars, dash of molasses, the alcohol helps to dry out the palate. Good, drinkable impy.

From the June 2013 3R6P tasting. +++ Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a black color with faint orange highlights and a large foamy tan head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was cookie dough, strong chocolate, marshmallow, toasty malts and marzipan. The flavor was very strong cocoa, vanilla, toasty malts, marzipan and a bit of wood. Long chocolate and toasty malt finish. Thick full and creamy body. Excellent.

Bottle from Bottleworks, Seattle
Black color with medium sized brownish head. Aroma of roasted malt, burnt paper, liquorice, light anise, leather, black pepper, firewood; quite an adventure. Very smooth mouthfeel, round; strong flavor of roasted malts, some coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice, salt; strong bitterness too; dark biscuity feeling too.
Well constructed.

Draught at Brews Almighty, Everett
Blond color, hazy. Off-dry pilsner, with a light grassy hint. Easy but not too bad.
