Bottle pour at a local Greek restaurant. Crisp, with some light corny grain. Really similar to other Euro-style lagers. Pairs well with the food, but that's because it's inoffensive.

Clear golden pour with a small, somehwat stable white head. Aroma is malt, carboard, herbs and a hint of citrus. Taste is malt and herbs. Not breathtaking, but OK overall.

Can. Pale red/dark orange sporting a good but very short-lived white head. Aroma of blood oranges. Taste of blood oranges, zest and grains. Fruity and slightly sweet. No bitterness. Strong carbonation. Not really that beery but oh so refreshing. Blood. Orange. Fix. Magik.

A lovely, simple thing. Pours clearish golden with a medium amount of surprisingly solid, white, medium lived head. A mild, grassy aroma gives way to a refreshing, no-so-bitter-yet-quite-dry-à-la-Asahi flavor with a decent enough finish. Body is crisp and lovely, medium carbonated. Chug in the Greek sun like it's meant to.

A World Cup Of Beers#2. GREECE. An international brew with the football and off to Greece for this golden coloured, lightly carbonated, slightly dryish fairly standard lager, which will probably taste a little better in the Mediterranean sun rather that at 3am in northern England. It has a light pilsner style graininess in both aroma and taste, sweetish too in that latter aspect and is clean enough drinking, but flavour is low. Drank whilst watching the second game of the tournament - South Korea vs Czech Republic.

A clear gold, with a small, white head. It smells of herbs, hops, malt, and a touch of skunk. The body is full, rather dry, with medium carbonation and no bitterness. The taste is lightly malty, with lemon notes. A standard beer, without any excitement, but excellent for the Greek heat.

0.33 l bottle at 'Anthema', best before October 2026. Clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, a little floral aroma of grains, light straw and traces of wort. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, minimally grassy taste of grains, straw and a touch of wort, followed by a short, moderately bitter, gently dry finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Drinkable.
