330ml bottle from Seumas Bar at Sligachan Hotel on Skye - Opaque black body, thin tan head. Malty roast coffee nose, bit of sweet vanilla there too. Sharp toasted grain first bite, woody whisky kick, more coffee ice cream. Good stuff.

330ml can at Seumas' Bar on Skye - Deepest brown boy, light tan head. Nose is roasted coffee, some milk chocolate, taste has a lactose feel to it, with the coffee bitterness hitting you at the back.

Bottle picked up at Misty Bottle, Isle of Skye. It pours darkest brown to black with a small beige head. The aroma is warming, roasty, warming smoke, bonfire, slightly medicinal, peated whisky, dark chocolate, dried fruits, gateaux, vanilla cake frosting and fruit cake. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, rich roasted malt, smoked action, peated whisky, toothy, chewy, dark chocolate, medicinal, chocolate cookies, brownies, light umami, touch savoury, saline, liquorice, spice and a touch of umami with a dry, toasty finish. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. Plenty of flavour given the abv. Fun stuff.

The aroma is bitter - sweet, rich roasted malt, lovely fresh roasted coffee character, creamy, milk chocolate, nuttiness and a touch of ash. The taste is dry, rich roasted malt, bitter - sweet, cacao nibs, plenty of coffee, bitter - sweet character, creamy, latte, tiramisu, nutty, earthy, touch of caramac and umami with a milky coffee finish. Medium body and moderate, lasting carbonation. Works really well and strikes a good bitter - sweet balance. Moreish.
