Cask @ Abel Heywood, Manchester. Mildly hazed golden ale with a thick creamy-frothy head. A hoppy pale ale with a slight dryness. Not overly flavoursome.

Simple malty bitter. Malt forward. Plain. Quite watery and thin. Reminds me of average quality cheap bitter from the 90's.

Keg. Amber colour with lasting head. It's really quite plain. Not hoppy or bitter at all. A small step up from a keg lager though.

Cask-conditioned at the WG Grace (JDW), Bristol, 4 April 2022. Golden in colour, with a slight, white, head. Light aroma of citrus hop, tangerines and hay. Flavour had some traces of citrus fruits, light and sweet malts, leading to a gently bitter finish. Fine.

Cask at Vine. Nantwich. As might be expected, this pours a dark ruby red with minimal foamy off-white head. Aroma just has a general fruitiness. Similar in the mouth, but now we can identify plums, pears and raspberries plus some roasted malts. Finish is malty. This is a decent mild.
